Rebar Formwork Worker (Steel Fixer / Formwork Carpenter) Roles and Responsibilities: Read and interpret construction drawings and bar bending schedules. Cut, bend, and fix reinforcement steel bars according to specifications. Assemble, install, and dismantle formwork for concrete structures. Ensure reinforcement and formwork are correctly positioned before concrete pouring. Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Maintain the quality and accuracy of work. Follow site safety procedures and wear required PPE. Keep the work area clean and organized. Report defects or safety hazards to the supervisor. Perform welding using approved welding processes (MIG, TIG, ARC, etc.). Read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols. Cut, join, and repair metal components. Inspect welded joints for quality and structural integrity. Maintain welding equipment and tools. Follow welding safety procedures and fire prevention measures. Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Keep accurate records of completed work when required.
