As part of the External Relations Department, you will work with a team to drive Singapore’s international energy engagements and cooperation. You will collaborate with governments, industry, and international partners to shape and deliver outcomes beyond Singapore. Your work will help chart the future of our energy systems and in translating ambition into action. Within this department sits our International Relations Branch, and we are looking for a team member to play a central role in: Driving bilateral engagements with international partners to advance Singapore's "Four Switches" Representing Singapore at ASEAN and other high-level multilateral forums Building and sustaining high-impact strategic dialogues with international counterparts and organisations such as IEA and IRENA Driving landmark regional interconnectivity initiatives such as the Lao PDR–Thailand–Malaysia–Singapore Power Integration Project (LTMS-PIP), the ASEAN Power Grid, ASEAN REC Framework, and other regional initiatives. You are energised by the opportunity to contribute to Singapore’s energy future through international engagements. You possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills. You communicate clearly and confidently and are comfortable engaging stakeholders across different cultural and institutional settings. You are organised, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. You are a strong team player who builds trusted relationships and works effectively across agencies, industries, and with international counterparts. Preferred Qualifications You are someone who: Has an education in Law, Economics, Public Policy, International Relations, Political Science or other related disciplines Has relevant experience in international relations, public policy, external engagement, or the energy sector; experience with regional or multilateral issues is an advantage. Has a strong understanding of energy policy and global trends. Project management experience and proficiency in other languages are advantageous. Is prepared to travel overseas for work when required.
