They are seeking for a detail-oriented Finance Specialist / Junior Accountant level to support a time-sensitive finance project involving the review and resolution of inter-company balances as part of a corporate liquidation exercise. The successful candidate will work closely with internal finance teams, tax consultants, banks, auditors, accountants and corporate service providers. This role also involves supporting the preparation of year-end financial accounts for dormant companies within the Group, as well as assisting with routine tax compliance and statutory reporting matters. Key Responsibilities: Review and reconcile inter-company balances across multiple entities Extract, analyse and consolidate accounting data from ERP systems and financial records Prepare schedules, working papers and supporting documents for inter-company settlements Support documentation for cross-border remittances, debt waivers and corporate liquidation matters Liaise with internal finance teams and external parties such as tax agents, auditors, banks and corporate secretarial agents Prepare year-end financial statements and supporting schedules for dormant companies Assist with tax compliance filings, tax health checks, tax audits and related follow-up queries Handle month-end closing for dormant overseas companies Maintain proper accounting, tax and statutory records for audit and governance purposes Key Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance or related discipline 4 to 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience Experience in financial reporting, inter-company accounting, tax compliance, treasury, corporate restructuring or liquidation work will be an advantage Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and reconciliation processes Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with financial data and supporting documents Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is advantageous Meticulous, independent and able to work within project timelines Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external advisors
