Software Engineering Manager***

This will be a 2-years direct contract position. Responsibilities Define engineering vision, strategy, and directions. Produce long-term technical plan and roadmap and updating it regularly to meet future product/business needs and infrastructure requirements. Engage with engineers in conversations about their performance, professional growth, offering constructive feedback, mentoring, and guidance. Partner with stakeholders and agencies to prioritize and manage roadmaps for delivering product vision incrementally and efficiently. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop quality, reliability, and security strategies. Identify and initiate engineering initiatives. Introduce practices and tools to encourage a strong engineering culture and maximize engineering effectiveness and impact. Tracking engineering capabilities backed by facts ("show me the code"). Defining and maturing key pillars such as Infrastructure-as-Code (creation, patching, remediation), CI/CD (build, test, deploy), and compliance posture (audits, VAPT, risk management). Leverage leading and lagging metrics such as lead time and deployment frequency to create accountability and drive measurable improvement. Support recruitment, particularly for more senior hires. Responsibilities Experience in Large, high-availability software systems that have operated at scale. Modern full-stack web application technologies; experience in modern front-end engineering like Next.js/React.js and Java/TypeScript on the backend. Coaching developers (minimum 2 years).
