Assistant Supervisor (Curtains & Blinds Installation) Role Overview The Assistant Supervisor supports the Technical Lead in overseeing daily installation operations, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards. This role combines hands-on installation work with team coordination, quality monitoring, and site support. The Assistant Supervisor is expected to lead smaller teams, assist in resolving site issues, and help develop junior installers while maintaining excellent workmanship and customer service. Key Responsibilities Installation & Site Support Carry out curtain, blinds, motorised systems, and accessories installation. Lead installation works for assigned projects. Assist the Technical Lead in handling larger or more complex projects. Perform site measurements and verify installation readiness. Ensure installations are completed according to company standards. Handle basic technical troubleshooting and escalate complex issues when necessary. Ensure proper care and usage of company tools, materials, and vehicles. Team Coordination Supervise installers on assigned jobs. Allocate daily tasks as instructed by the Technical Lead or Operations. Guide junior installers during installation. Monitor work progress and ensure jobs are completed on schedule. Promote teamwork, punctuality, and professionalism on-site. Quality Control Check completed installations before handover. Ensure proper alignment, finishing, cleanliness, and workmanship. Minimise installation errors and unnecessary rework. Report recurring installation issues for improvement. Operations & Communication Coordinate with Operations regarding installation progress. Communicate professionally with customers, interior designers, and site personnel. Report site issues, delays, damages, or variation works promptly. Ensure accurate completion of installation reports and site photographs. Safety & Compliance Ensure installers follow workplace safety requirements. Maintain clean and organised work areas. Ensure proper handling of ladders, power tools, and motorised equipment. Report unsafe working conditions immediately. Training & Development Coach and support new installers. Demonstrate correct installation techniques. Reinforce company installation SOPs and quality standards. Assist the Technical Lead in onboarding and skills development. Requirements Minimum 3 years' experience in curtain and blinds installation. Able to independently complete standard installation projects. Basic leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Good communication and coordination skills. Responsible, organised, and able to work under pressure. Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence preferred. Experience with motorised systems is an advantage.
