Kitchen Helper

Job Description: Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, and food preparation areas. Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items promptly and thoroughly. Receive, unpack, and store deliveries according to food safety standards. Organize and replenish kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed. Dispose of waste and recyclables properly and maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas. Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations at all times. Assist with setting up and closing down kitchen operations. Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or stock shortages to supervisors. Support the kitchen team with other duties as assigned.
