ABOUT EXPLICO Explico is a Singapore-based EdTech startup that focuses on online assessment and learning systems using AI and Machine Learning to analyze students’ weaknesses and strengths, by helping them to measure their learning outcomes. Founded in 2019 by a team with years of experience in the Education Industry working for topmost Academic Institutions, schools, Universities, and Education Technology across Asia. It is also part of Google AI and Microsoft Startup and founders hub working closely with their partners to expand beyond Singapore to South East Asia and LATAM region. The vision and mission are to become Asia's elite Assessment based Learning system by 2028. Position Overview This role is responsible for contributing to Explico's business growth channel in Cambodia B2C and B2B space, focusing on the business development of Education Technology systems. Position Responsibilities Reach out to B2B clients for generating leads in Cambodia. Identify new processes and technology tools for high-quality lead acquisition. Highly responsive to any business queries and leads inquiries. Open to work on Targets. Ensure that all Lead Generation & Business Development Support activities are effectively tracked and integrated. Will be working closely with the Founder, Technology and Operations team. Able to work in a multicultural team. Qualifications A Bachelors degree is strongly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Cambodian. Someone with knowledge of the Cambodia education system and education industry (tuition and enrichment). Experience in Business Development of education technology systems/platforms is an advantage. Fluent in English and Cambodian language. A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales. Qualities Should be flexible, as it is a startup environment. It's not the mistakes that count but being able to learn from it. Capable of taking ownership of the task. Ability to grow the team and department in the longer run.
