QA / Test Automation Engineer

About the Company Our client is a well-established organization with a strong presence in the transport and infrastructure sector. Responsibilities We’re looking for a QA / Test Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of complex systems. This role will drive testing strategy, automation, and defect management across the full development lifecycle. Plan and execute end-to-end testing across system components; Analyse requirements and design comprehensive test strategies and test cases; Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts; Prepare and manage test environments and test data; Execute functional, integration, and performance testing; Track, manage, and resolve defects through to closure; Perform root cause analysis and improve test coverage and processes; Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery; Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices. Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; Experience in software testing and/or test automation; Familiarity with scripting or programming for automation; Understanding of SDLC and testing lifecycle; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
