Safety Coordinator

Job Description Assist in implementing and monitoring the company's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) management system. Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts or conditions. Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, company safety procedures, and client safety requirements. Perform daily inspection to ensure compliance to prevailing MOM regulations. Conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and safety briefings for employees and subcontractors. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure safe work practices are followed. Maintain safety records, inspection reports, permits, and statutory documentation. Coordinate safety audits and support corrective actions to improve safety performance. Liaise with project teams, clients, and regulatory authorities on safety-related matters Requirements Certificate in Advanced Certificate in WSH Level B and/or any relevant Safety Certificates. With at least 3 years of working experience in high-rise building Good communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Good knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health Act and its subsidiary regulations Familiar with MOM Workplace Safety and Health regulations and industry best practices. Knowledge of Risk Assessment (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Permit-to-Work (PTW), and incident reporting. 6 days work week. Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
