Job Description & Requirements Roles & Responsibilities Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials Build custom furniture such as tables, cabinets, wardrobes, and chairs Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and design plans Operate woodworking machinery (saws, drills, sanders, etc.) safely Repair damaged furniture and perform maintenance work Ensure accuracy, quality, and finishing of all products Install furniture fittings, fixtures, and components Select appropriate materials based on project requirements Maintain a clean and safe work environment Collaborate with designers, supervisors, or clients when needed Requirements Strong woodworking and carpentry skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools Good measurement skills Knowledge of different wood types and materials Basic understanding of safety standards and procedures Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines , with flexibility to work extended hours when required
