About this role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Graduate Engineering Trainee to join our Medical Devices Manufacturing engineering team. Position: Graduate Engineering Trainee (GET) – Contract basis Location: Flex, 1, Kallang Place, Singapore Objective: Our trainee program aimed at grooming and developing potential Engineers on a contract basis for a duration of 1-2 years. This program will offer comprehensive training and hands-on experience in Test Engineering . Program Highlights: In-Depth Training: Trainees will receive extensive training on systems, processes, and products. Hands-On Experience: Trainees will support Engineers on various projects, ensuring practical application of their learning. Project Involvement: In addition to case-by-case assignments with guidance, participants will engage in lean projects or Kaizen events to enhance their skills. Training Programs: Validation Training (Tester, Equipment and Facility Validation). Hand on opportunity for both documentation and validation execution. 2. Product Training (Basis understanding of different Medical Product). 3. Training of different subassembly (Optics, Robotics, Fluidic and others). 4. Training of different commodities (PCBA, Electro-Mechanical, Mechanical, Cable Hardness etc) (a) NCMR Verification (b) Opportunity of understanding PCBA process at PCBA Site 5. Troubleshooting (Hand on) including DMAIC Concept (a) Yield Improvement Project (Cover both Process and Parts cases) with hand on activities (b) Area cover could include: - Chemical usage - Optics Calibration and Alignment - Assembly Process (Important of Process Validation) - Different Commodities Parts (intermittent with parts at Limit measurement) - Tester related (Important of Validation, PM and Calibration) - Product Design Issue - Derive Long term solution to prvent the reoccurrence 6. Establish of Test Procedure 7. Tester Study and Fabrication – Case Study 8. Electrical Safety Test Setup and requirement 9. Cycle Time Study on Station and Tester requirement Job requirements: Student who has just graduated or is in their final year of engineering (Preferred Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, Bio-Medical, Mechanical Engineering). Other engineering disciplines will be assessed on case-by-case basis. Strong academic performance. Basic understanding of engineering principles and theories. Excellent problem-solving abilities and detail orientation. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office and relevant engineering software.
