Job Summary The Senior Executive will support the planning and execution of FAS' corporate communications strategy, spanning media relations, national team communications, stakeholder engagement, and reputation management. The role serves as a key interface between FAS and the media, supporting Singapore's men's and women's national teams during international windows and major competitions, and leading communications planning for key organisational initiatives and events. Job Description Media Relations & National Team Communications Develop and execute media engagement plans for national team activities, competitions, and major announcements Serve as the day-to-day lead communications representative for assigned national team activities and matchday media operations Act as a primary point of contact for local and international media, facilitating interview requests, media operations, and accreditation processes Coordinate and manage media activities including press conferences, mixed zones, media days, and other official engagements Build and maintain positive working relationships with media representatives and key stakeholders Support the development and implementation of media strategies to enhance coverage of Singapore football and FAS initiatives Coordinate with relevant sporting stakeholders such as AFC, FIFA, ASEAN Football Federation, member associations, and tournament organisers on communications and media matters where required Issues Management & Reputation Monitor media coverage and identify emerging issues, risks, and opportunities requiring communications support Develop communications recommendations and response strategies for emerging issues and sensitive matters Support the drafting and coordination of official responses to media enquiries, ensuring alignment with organisational positions and stakeholder expectations Prepare background notes, key messages, Q&As, and holding statements to support spokesperson engagements Prepare media monitoring reports and stakeholder updates for senior management Communications Planning & Content Lead day-to-day communications planning and messaging development for assigned FAS initiatives, announcements, and campaigns Support communications planning and execution for flagship FAS activities, including major events, publications, partnerships, and organisational milestones Develop communications materials, including press releases, media advisories, speeches, newsletters, reports, and briefing documents Review and refine content produced by team members to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organisational messaging Ensure all communications outputs adhere to FAS' brand, editorial, and communications standards Spokesperson and Stakeholder Engagement Develop media briefing materials, key message documents, and Q&A packs for players, coaches, management, and spokespersons Support any media training and spokesperson preparation sessions where required Advise players, coaches, and staff on media engagement protocols and best practices Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Media, or a related field Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in communications, public relations, journalism, media relations, or corporate communications Demonstrated experience managing media relations and stakeholder communications Strong understanding of issues management, media engagement, and reputation management principles Proven ability to develop briefing materials and prepare senior stakeholders for media engagements Background in supporting high-profile events, sports properties, national teams, or public institutions will be advantageous
