Senior Solutions Engineer – AWS & Snowflakes

Job Summary Role: Senior Solutions Engineer – AWS & Snowflakes Start: ASAP Duration: 12 Months Location: Singapore We are seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise-grade cloud-native data and AI solutions. This role requires strong software engineering expertise combined with hands-on experience in AWS and Snowflake to deliver scalable, secure, and well-governed data platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with experience developing data products, cloud services, and AI-enabled solutions across the full software development lifecycle. Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Technology, or a related discipline. - Minimum 8 years of experience in Software Engineering, Solution Engineering, Data Engineering, or similar hands-on technical roles. - Experience working within regulated industries such as Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets, or other data-sensitive sectors is preferred. Mandatory Skills - Deep hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, security, IAM, monitoring, orchestration, and serverless technologies. - Strong hands-on Snowflake experience including data modeling, schema design, SQL optimization, data governance, access control, performance tuning, and platform administration. - Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java. - Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, object-oriented design, and software engineering principles. - Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar. Nice-to-Have Skills - Experience with Amazon Bedrock and AWS AI services. - Knowledge of Agentic AI architectures, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), model evaluation, AI guardrails, and responsible AI practices. - Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments. - Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools. - Understanding of financial systems, regulatory requirements, data governance, and enterprise risk controls. Roles and Responsibilities: - Design, develop, deploy, and support production-grade software, data, and AI solutions from architecture through operations. - Build scalable, secure, and reliable data pipelines and data products using AWS and Snowflake. - Design, optimize, and maintain Snowflake data models, schemas, datasets, and data structures to support analytics and business requirements. - Implement software engineering best practices including clean coding, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, security, and maintainable architecture. - Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data and technology solutions. - Develop cloud-native integrations and automation using AWS services and event-driven architectures. - Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to improve development efficiency, testing, documentation, debugging, and solution delivery. - Support deployment, release management, production operations, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and incident resolution. - Conduct code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. - Ensure solutions adhere to governance, security, risk, and compliance requirements.
