Job Summary Join our team as a Category Manager to lead brand growth, develop sales strategies, and build strong relationships within the horeca sector, driving business success and category development. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive brand growth within the category Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts across the horeca sector to increase sales opportunities Identify potential leads and convert them into new accounts to expand the customer base Collaborate with the Marketing team by providing insights to enhance marketing campaigns Maintain supplier relationships and coordinate with them to develop and implement effective sales strategies Train and educate sales teams on category features, benefits, and selling techniques to improve performance Monitor industry trends, emerging categories, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities Preferred competencies and qualifications Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role within the hospitality industry Deep knowledge of the category including suppliers, brands, customers, and market trends Strong leadership skills demonstrated by inspiring and motivating teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers Detail-oriented approach focused on maintaining high standards of quality and consistency Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take ownership of tasks Preferred fluency in English
