Job Description – Restaurant Manager We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Restaurant Manager to oversee the restaurant’s daily operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for service quality, team performance, customer satisfaction, sales performance and cost control. Key Responsibilities Manage the restaurant’s overall daily operations. Lead and supervise managers, supervisors and front-of-house employees. Ensure consistently high standards of customer service, food quality and cleanliness. Plan manpower requirements and prepare effective staff schedules. Conduct team briefings and communicate operational priorities. Recruit, train, coach and evaluate restaurant employees. Set performance expectations and address employee-performance issues. Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve complaints professionally. Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service. Monitor sales performance and implement measures to achieve sales targets. Manage labour, food and operating costs within approved budgets. Review daily sales, discounts, voids, refunds and payment records. Ensure accurate cash handling, daily reconciliation and reporting. Monitor stock levels and coordinate ordering and inventory checks. Control wastage, breakages and unnecessary operating expenses. Plan and implement promotions and sales-building initiatives. Ensure compliance with food hygiene, workplace safety and company policies. Maintain restaurant equipment, furnishings and facilities in good condition. Coordinate repairs and maintenance when necessary. Manage reservations, customer flow and restaurant capacity during busy periods. Prepare operational, sales and employee-performance reports. Conduct regular inspections of dining, service and storage areas. Build a positive working environment and encourage teamwork. Liaise with senior management regarding restaurant performance and operational needs. Carry out other responsibilities assigned by senior management. Requirements Relevant management experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment. Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager. Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills. Good knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service and food hygiene standards. Experience in sales management, budgeting and cost control. Able to analyse operational results and implement improvements. Familiar with point-of-sale systems, inventory management and sales reporting. Strong decision-making, planning and problem-solving abilities. Customer-focused, responsible and able to perform well under pressure. Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as scheduled. Working Hours 5-day work week 44 working hours per week Shift hours will be scheduled according to operational requirements.
