Job Description – Restaurant Service Supervisor We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Restaurant Service Supervisor to oversee daily front-of-house operations. The successful candidate will lead the service team, maintain service standards and ensure that guests have a positive dining experience. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily front-of-house operations and ensure smooth service. Assign duties and brief the service team before each shift. Monitor employee attendance, grooming and work performance. Welcome guests and assist with reservations, queues and seating arrangements. Ensure orders are taken accurately and served promptly. Coordinate with the kitchen team regarding orders, special requests and service timing. Monitor the dining area and ensure tables are cleared and reset efficiently. Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally. Support the team during busy service periods. Train and guide new and existing service employees. Ensure employees understand the menu, promotions and service procedures. Monitor service supplies and request replenishment when required. Ensure cash, card and other payment transactions are handled accurately. Assist with daily sales reconciliation and cashier closing procedures. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of all customer-facing areas. Enforce food hygiene, workplace safety and service standards. Conduct opening and closing checks. Report operational, staffing or maintenance issues to the Restaurant Manager. Take charge of front-of-house operations when the Restaurant Manager is unavailable. Carry out other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager. Requirements Relevant experience in restaurant service or hospitality. Previous experience as a Service Supervisor, Team Leader or Senior Service Crew member is preferred. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Able to supervise, guide and motivate a service team. Good knowledge of restaurant operations and service procedures. Able to handle customer complaints calmly and professionally. Familiar with point-of-sale systems and payment handling. Strong organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills. Responsible, punctual and able to work efficiently under pressure. Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as scheduled. Working Hours 5-day work week 44 working hours per week Shift hours will be scheduled according to operational requirements.
