Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing

The Role: To lead the Company's sales and marketing activities by overseeing pricing strategies, yield optimisation, commercial governance, and key customer negotiations, while monitoring market conditions and providing strategic pricing direction to maximise profitability, strengthen market competitiveness, and achieve the Company's commercial objectives. Job Responsibilities: 1. Pricing Strategy & Management Cost evaluation to establish selling rates for all local offices for all services. Ensure MRG (Minimum Rate Guideline) are provided to local offices for their marketing or filing locally. Evaluation and approval/rejection for all rates lower than MRG. 2. Commercial Governance & Approvals Checking for approval/rejection on CA and CN request from all local offices on services. 3. Yield Management & Market Monitoring Ensure all loadings on all services are at the best yield basis market situation during times of bookings. Monitoring market situation with all local offices to ensure if there are any surcharge implementation or rates changes. 4. Customer & Commercial Account Management Handling and negotiating DF account on all services. Handling and negotiating used basis regular account on all services. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline. Minimum 8–10 years of relevant sales and marketing experience, preferably within the shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or maritime industry, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial capacity. Strong commercial and business acumen. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Sound knowledge of shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics operations. Effective stakeholder and relationship management skills. Strong decision-making and commercial judgment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strategic thinking and planning capabilities. Leadership and team management skills.
