Company Overview Glyph Community is a Singapore-registered IPC charity dedicated to supporting children from lower-income or vulnerable households, aged 5 to 12, through holistic weekend enrichment programs. Beyond fostering social, emotional, and intellectual growth through structured activities like arts, STEM, life skills, and wellness initiatives, Glyph Community now also focuses on uplifting the living standards of the families we serve. Role Overview This is a hands-on role for people who love being out there, meeting people, and making things happen. You’ll be calling families to bring new kids into our programs, running activities face-to-face, and being the person children look forward to seeing every week. You need to be outgoing, comfortable talking to strangers, and ready to take charge without someone holding your hand. If you genuinely enjoy working with kids and have the energy to keep up with them, you’ll do well here. If phone calls make you freeze, or if spending a few hours with children sounds draining, this isn’t the job for you. Roles & Responsibilities Recruiting new beneficiaries (community visits, calls) Engaging beneficiaries (paid activities, registration renewals) Activity Facilitator on days with activities Preparing and executing activities Cleaning up the centre & organising inventory Student administration & customer service (managing attendance and post-activity feedback sheets, answering queries, resolving complaints) Managing volunteers during activities (giving instructions, briefing & debriefing) Requirements Passionate about the education and social work industry Comfortable speaking to families via calls and Whatsapp Workdays are Wednesday - Sunday 9:30am - 6:30pm, Off on Monday – Tuesday Saturday - Sunday: Teaching duty at Boon Lay / Marsiling NYC YCCI Cycle 15: September 2026 - February 2027 https://youthcorps.nyc.gov.sg/lead/youth-corps-community-internship/ Application Process To apply, please submit your cover letter and resume to careers@glyph.asia.
