Bank Legal Head

Responsibilities Provide legal advice on banking, lending, commercial, and regulatory matters. Draft, review, and negotiate banking documentation, commercial agreements, and customer terms and conditions. Review credit and security documentation to ensure legal enforceability. Advise on Singapore banking regulations, PDPA, and other applicable legal requirements. Manage litigation, disputes, and external legal counsel where required. Support internal investigations, governance matters, and policy development. Provide legal support for regional operations across Asia Pacific, including Singapore and Shanghai. Assist with audit and regulatory matters to ensure ongoing compliance. Requirements Degree in Law; admission to the Singapore Bar or a recognised legal qualification. Minimum 15 years' legal experience , preferably within banking, financial services, or a leading law firm. Strong knowledge of Singapore banking regulations, lending documentation, and commercial contracts. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
