Responsibilities: Lead market analysis and strategic insights to support investment decisions, strategic planning, and portfolio management across APAC. Monitor macroeconomic, regulatory, industry, and competitive developments, translating insights into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders. Enhance analytical capabilities through Power BI and other tools by developing datasets, dashboards, and key performance metrics. Analyse energy market trends, supply-demand dynamics, policy developments, and emerging opportunities, including low-carbon initiatives. Evaluate existing projects and new investment opportunities through commercial analysis, strategic alignment, competitive positioning, and risk assessment. Present market insights and recommendations to regional and global stakeholders to support business decisions. Prepare strategic reports, executive presentations, and external communication materials. Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, advisors, and strategic partners across APAC. Support cross-functional and regional strategic initiatives, and undertake additional analytical or strategic assignments as required. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics or a related discipline. Minimum 3–4 years' experience in the power, gas/LNG or related energy sector, with exposure to strategy, market analysis or research; knowledge of Asian energy markets is preferred. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the gas/LNG and fuel-to-power value chain. Proven ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and translate complex market data into actionable strategic insights. Strong communication skills with the ability to present concise, structured recommendations to senior stakeholders. Highly analytical, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing competing priorities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytics tools; experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL or power market modelling is an advantage.
