Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure operations across Azure and Alibaba Cloud. This role focuses on managing complex incidents, strengthening cloud governance, and ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing environments. Key Responsibilities Act as the escalation point for complex cloud and hybrid connectivity issues Troubleshoot advanced networking, compute, and platform-level incidents Manage container platforms including AKS and ACK lifecycle operations Strengthen cloud governance, access controls, and subscription management Drive cost optimization and resource efficiency initiatives Validate disaster recovery readiness and support failover testing Review and enhance firewall, routing, and network security configurations Coordinate with cloud vendors for critical issue resolution Support capacity planning and performance tuning Ensure compliance with security standards and audit requirements Guide and mentor junior engineers Review technical implementation plans and support automation initiatives Maintain architecture documentation and operational standards Requirements Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Alibaba Cloud Experience with cloud networking (Firewall, ExpressRoute / Express Connect, Application Gateway) Familiarity with container platforms (AKS / ACK) Knowledge of Azure SQL, SQL MI, or RDS Experience in hybrid cloud environments and DR setups Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and cost management Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues Please send your detailed resume in MS Word format to resume@goldtecHRs.com with Education Level Working experiences Each employment background Reason for leaving each employment Last drawn salary Expected salary Date of availability
