Senior IT Assistant/Officer (1 Year Contract)

[Job ID: 1396735] Responsibilities Maintain and manage IT operations, including network infrastructure, servers, backup systems, and hardware/software. Implement system improvements and handle critical IT tasks to support daily operations. Manage IT hardware assets and software licence inventory. Install, configure, and provide support for workstations, printers, phones, and related peripherals. Implement software applications and upgrades, troubleshooting performance issues as needed. Assist the IT Team Leader in developing and maintaining IT policies and procedures. Participate in ad hoc projects and duties as required. Requirements Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and operations. Proficient in basic administration of systems and servers, including phone systems, wireless networks, and enterprise applications such as Windows OS and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with current equipment, technologies, and enterprise backup and recovery procedures. Experience supporting video conferencing systems, mobile devices, and Linux is an added advantage. Basic understanding of databases, cybersecurity, and cloud computing is beneficial.
