About this role

[Job ID: 1631465] Responsibilities: Perform detailed inspections and troubleshooting to identify root causes of product failures Carry out repair, rework, and functional testing of returned products in compliance with quality and safety standards Document inspection findings with supporting data, including test results, photos, and analysis Escalate complex or unresolved issues to engineering or headquarters teams Prepare clear and structured inspection reports for customers Communicate technical findings, repair status, and recommendations professionally to stakeholders Coordinate with sales and account teams for follow-up actions Conduct on-site troubleshooting, inspection, and basic servicing at customer premises Support installation checks, basic commissioning, and operational verification Maintain accurate documentation of field service activities Manage issuance and return of loan units, including pre- and post-inspection checks Track and maintain loan inventory to ensure readiness Assemble and configure demo units, including wiring, setup, and basic programming Test demo kits to ensure proper functionality and support customized demonstrations Provide feedback on recurring issues and support improvement of troubleshooting guides and service procedures Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in good working condition Requirements: Minimum Nitec/Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply Basic knowledge of motor systems, wiring, and control (AC/DC, stepper, servo preferred) is an added advantage Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair is an added advantage Familiarity with basic programming or parameter setting is an added advantage Ability to operate measurement tools such as a multimeter Customer-oriented mindset with professional communication skills We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
