Executive Fleet Engineer

[Job Order ID: 996241] Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of Fleet Engineering Specialists to perform maintenance and repairs on marine craft machinery and equipment. Report daily manpower allocation updates to the Fleet Engineering Management team. Coordinate regularly with the Fleet Operations team to ensure timely maintenance and readiness of marine crafts for deployment. Champion innovation initiatives and oversee new vessel construction projects. Evaluate stock and non-stock inventory, recommending spare parts for routine and corrective maintenance. Develop and oversee maintenance schedules for all onboard and workshop equipment. Liaise with external partners, such as shipyards, to manage scheduled dockings and related projects. Create development plans for team performance, training, and discipline. Guide, mentor, and inspire team members to meet operational goals. Collaborate with management to foster a supportive and productive work environment. Maintain accurate documentation of assets, completed work, spare part procurement, special tools, and manpower usage. Explore and assess new technologies for potential integration into fleet operations. Carry out other duties as required. Requirements: Degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent. Solid interdisciplinary understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and symbols. Proven leadership skills with strengths in problem-solving and project management. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective professional relationships.
