Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies for timber and wood-related products across international markets Build and maintain strong relationships with global buyers, suppliers, and partners Identify new market opportunities and expand the timber trading portfolio Promote sustainably sourced timber products and communicate environmental value propositions Manage the full sales cycle from sourcing to delivery, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply-demand dynamics in the timber and forestry sectors Lead and develop a sales team, including performance management Collaborate with internal teams for logistics, compliance, and operational execution Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and sustainability standards (e.g., FSC or equivalent) Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and strategic recommendations for management Requirements: Must-have Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Forestry, Environmental Studies, or related field Minimum 5 years of international sales experience Business-level Japanese proficiency or above to liaise effectively with Japanese-speaking clients, suppliers, and stakeholders Proven leadership and team management experience Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Willingness to travel internationally Good to have …
