Barista / Front-Of-House Crew

About Us We are a new neighbourhood bagel shop and workshop space serving freshly baked bagels, quality coffee, and community experiences. We are looking for friendly, reliable team members who enjoy hospitality and creating great customer experiences. Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards Take customer orders and process payments accurately Recommend menu items and assist customers with product selections Prepare and assemble bagels, sandwiches, and simple food items Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service counter, coffee station, and customer areas Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment Support opening and closing duties Ensure food safety, hygiene, and workplace cleanliness standards are maintained Assist with workshop setup and customer service when required Requirements Previous café, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred Basic coffee-making experience is a plus, but training can be provided Positive attitude and strong communication skills Customer-focused and friendly personality Able to work efficiently during busy service periods Responsible, punctual, and dependable Comfortable standing for long periods and performing light lifting Preferred Experience operating espresso machines and grinders Knowledge of coffee preparation and milk steaming Experience with POS systems and cash handling Interest in food, coffee, baking, or hospitality What We Offer Opportunity to grow with a new business from the beginning Training and development opportunities Friendly and supportive work environment Staff meals and employee discounts (if applicable) Salary Competitive and commensurate with experience.
