Site Engineer

Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including subcontractor works, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project schedules. Monitor site progress regularly, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely project completion. Coordinate and manage manpower deployment, material planning, ordering, and delivery to support smooth project execution. Ensure all construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and relevant authority requirements. Prepare and submit monthly progress reports for internal management, clients, and consultants, highlighting project milestones, achievements, and key challenges. Compile weekly site progress reports and prepare necessary project submissions in a timely manner. Attend site meetings, coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholders to resolve site issues effectively. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Assist in project planning, scheduling, and overall site management to achieve project objectives. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management. Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline recognized by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board, or equivalent qualifications. Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience in the construction industry. Proven experience in managing projects of similar scale, nature, and complexity, particularly in building works. Prior hands-on experience in construction site supervision and coordination. Strong knowledge of construction methods, project coordination, and quality control procedures.
