About this role
Job Summary Join our banking client as a Credit Analyst to assess corporate creditworthiness, prepare detailed credit reports, monitor portfolio quality, and contribute to credit risk management strategies within the Credit Department. Responsibilities Conduct detailed credit assessments on corporate clients and financing proposals by analyzing credit ratings, credit limits, financial and non-financial data, and financing structures including terms, covenants, and conditions Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive credit review reports for presentation to credit approval committees Monitor ongoing credit exposures by performing periodic portfolio reviews, identifying early warning signs, and recommending effective risk-mitigation strategies to maintain portfolio quality Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to communicate credit findings and support credit decision-making processes Support department initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department Work independently and contribute effectively within a team environment to achieve department objectives Required competencies and certifications Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accountancy, or a related discipline with strong analytical and quantitative skills Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in credit risk assessment within a regional or global financial institution Preferred competencies and qualifications Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to engage with internal teams and stakeholders Proactive, analytical, and resourceful approach with strong business acumen and attention to detail
