Salesforce Developer

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, specialising in Salesforce Experience Cloud. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing, developing and implementing secure, scalable and user-friendly customer, partner and employee portals using Salesforce Experience Cloud. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop and implement Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions to meet business requirements. - Build and customise customer, partner and employee portals using Experience Builder, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Apex and Visualforce. - Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces with a focus on user experience and performance. - Configure Experience Cloud features including: - Experience Builder - Partner Communities - Customer Communities - CMS - Audience Targeting - Branding & Themes - Navigation Menus - Knowledge Integration - Self-Service Portals - Login & Registration Flows - Implement secure authentication and authorisation mechanisms, including SSO, OAuth and external user security. - Develop and maintain integrations with third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs and Platform Events. - Build automation using Flows, Apex Triggers, Batch Apex and Queueable Apex. - Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, UI/UX designers and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices. - Troubleshoot production issues and optimise portal performance. - Manage deployments using Git, Copado, Gearset or Salesforce DevOps tools. - Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend platform enhancements. Required Skills - 6+ years of Salesforce development experience. - Strong expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud. - Hands-on experience with: - Apex - Lightning Web Components (LWC) - Aura Components - Visualforce - Experience Builder - SOQL/SOSL - Salesforce Flows - Batch Apex - Queueable Apex - Platform Events - Strong understanding of external user licensing, sharing models, profiles, permission sets and security best practices. - Experience building responsive portals and custom Lightning components. - Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP API integrations. - Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Preferred Qualifications - Salesforce Platform Developer I (Mandatory) - Salesforce Platform Developer II (Preferred) - Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant Certification (Preferred) - Salesforce Administrator Certification (Preferred) Good to Have - Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. - Experience with Salesforce CMS and Knowledge. - Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud and Agentforce. - Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Copado, Gearset or Azure DevOps. - Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Boomi. - Familiarity with Salesforce DX. Soft Skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to mentor junior developers and collaborate effectively across teams. - Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
