Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs from tender stage through project completion, ensuring effective cost control and contract administration while maintaining project profitability. Key Responsibilities Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and tender submissions. Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers. Prepare tender analysis and recommend award proposals. Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Prepare and submit progress claims, payment certificates, and variation orders (VO). Evaluate subcontractors' claims and prepare payment recommendations. Monitor project budgets, costs, and cash flow. Prepare cost reports and forecast project financial performance. Negotiate and finalize project final accounts with clients and subcontractors. Attend project meetings and coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, and site teams. Ensure all commercial documentation is properly maintained. Support procurement activities and cost-saving initiatives. Perform other duties assigned by management. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Minimum 2–5 years of relevant QS experience in the construction industry. Experience in building, civil, infrastructure, or interior fit-out projects will be an advantage. Good knowledge of construction contracts, tendering procedures, and cost management. Familiar with Singapore construction practices and contract administration. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and QS software. Able to work independently and meet project deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience with both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract Quantity Surveying. Familiarity with SIA, PSSCOC, or other standard forms of contract. Knowledge of BIM measurement tools is an added advantage.
