About this role

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the design process throughout all project phases, from concept development to construction completion. Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth design integration. Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for accuracy, constructability, and compliance. Manage design submissions, approvals, and revisions with relevant authorities and stakeholders. Identify and resolve design conflicts using value engineering and practical construction solutions. Ensure designs comply with Singapore building regulations, codes, and project specifications. Monitor design progress and ensure deliverables are completed within project timelines. Support project teams during construction by providing technical guidance and resolving design-related issues. Attend design coordination meetings and prepare meeting minutes and action plans. Maintain effective communication among internal departments and external consultants. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry. Experience managing design coordination for commercial, residential, industrial, or institutional projects. Strong knowledge of Singapore building regulations, BCA requirements, and construction standards. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with BIM coordination and project collaboration platforms is an advantage. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Design & Build (D&B) projects. Knowledge of Green Mark requirements will be an advantage.
