Quantity Surveyor

Roles & Responsibilities Scope of Work for Quantity Surveyor (QS) 1. Prepare quantity take-off, cost estimates andtender pricing. 2. Source, evaluate and negotiate quotations fromsubcontractors and suppliers. 3. Prepare tender submissions, commercial proposalsand value engineering options. 4. Administer contracts, subcontract agreements andcommercial correspondences. 5. Monitor project budget, cost control, cash flowand cost forecasting. 6. Prepare, evaluate and certify subcon progressclaims. 7. Prepare, evaluate for Main claim submission. 8. Measure and evaluate variation works, claims andadditional costs. 9. Prepare monthly cost reports, accruals andfinancial summaries. 10. Costcontrol for material ordering ie. Concrete and Rebar. 11. Managesubcontractor commercial matters including procurement and final accounts. 12. Coordinatewith project team, consultants and clients on all commercial and contractualmatters throughout the project lifecycle.
