About this role

Primary Objective(s) of Position · Source and develop new leads with a focus on Oil & Gas, Heavy Equipment or Contract Logistics verticals · Establish and maintain strong professional rapport with existing accounts to develop long term sustainable repeat business opportunities · Responsible for achieving individual sales target and revenue growth · Recommend suitable logistics services or solutions in tandem with overall corporate directions and strategies · Keep abreast of developing trends and gather market intelligence to develop appropriate sales strategies · Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and well executed service delivery to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction · Discharge all account management responsibilities Duties & Responsibilities · Participate in identifying corporate sales planning and strategies · Develop pricing and business models based on customer needs · Identify and enlarge Targeted Customer Base and Industry · Conduct Marketplace intelligence and research · Promote service offerings to customers and prospects · Develop strong customer relationships through regular visits or timely response to queries · Preparation and submission of proposals to customers · Provide after-sales customer support where required · Respond to RFQs, tenders, RFIs, etc. · Follow up on invoicing and payments · Sales Reporting and analysis Person Specifications · Diploma/Degree in Sales or any other discipline relevant to the supply chain or logistics industry · Minimum 5 years of working experience in logistics or supply chain · Good presentation and communication skills · Result-oriented · Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
