About the Opportunity Our client is an established financial services organization seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations for its Singapore entity. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role is responsible for financial reporting, regulatory compliance, budgeting, treasury management, audit coordination, and supporting group finance activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements within a fast-paced financial services environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting Manage the full set of accounts, including month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare timely and accurate management reports, financial statements, and supporting schedules in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS(I)) and IFRS. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and financial records. Support group reporting requirements, including consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and financial analysis. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections while monitoring business performance against financial targets. Treasury & Cash Management Oversee daily cash flow planning, banking activities, and treasury operations. Monitor liquidity requirements and maintain healthy cash management practices. Ensure proper reconciliation of financial transactions and banking records. Audit, Tax & Compliance Lead the annual statutory audit process and coordinate with external auditors. Ensure timely preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation. Manage corporate tax, GST, withholding tax, and other statutory compliance matters in collaboration with external tax advisors. Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards, corporate governance requirements, and applicable financial regulations. Regulatory Reporting Prepare and submit financial reports required by relevant regulatory authorities. Monitor compliance with regulatory financial requirements and reporting obligations. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure finance-related regulatory matters are accurately managed. Support internal control initiatives and continuously improve finance processes and governance practices. Business & Operational Support Partner with management to provide financial analysis and recommendations that support strategic decision-making. Participate in finance transformation and process improvement initiatives. Support finance-related projects and business initiatives across the organization. Assist with basic HR administrative matters and employee onboarding when required. Requirements Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualification such as Singapore CA, ISCA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent. Minimum 6 years of relevant finance and accounting experience. Prior experience within financial services, capital markets, brokerage, fintech, banking, or related industries will be highly advantageous. Strong understanding of SFRS(I), IFRS, financial reporting standards, and statutory compliance requirements. Experience preparing consolidated financial reports and managing multi-entity accounting environments. Familiarity with Singapore regulatory reporting requirements will be an advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with auditors, tax advisors, regulators, and senior stakeholders.
