Network Operations Engineer (Banking)

Your new role You will join the Infrastructure & Network Operations team, supporting the daily operation of enterprise IT systems and network environments within a highly regulated banking environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on critical infrastructure, gain exposure to financial services technology, and play a key part in ensuring the stability and security of the bank's IT operations. Job responsibilities • Provide technical support for daily IT operations, network maintenance, and infrastructure management. • Troubleshoot and resolve IT system, network, and infrastructure issues to ensure smooth business operations. • Monitor and support enterprise network environments, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, and VPN technologies. • Manage user accounts, access controls, and security permissions while supporting IT audits and compliance requirements. • Participate in 24/7 rotational shift support to ensure continuous monitoring and availability of critical banking systems. Job requirements • Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related discipline. • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals with hands-on experience in network and infrastructure support. • Previous experience within banking, financial services, ora regulated environment is highly advantageous. • Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and regional teams. • Self-motivated team player with strong troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
