Your new company Our client is a global engineering and project delivery specialist with strong expertise in technically complex environments such as advanced manufacturing, life sciences, and mission-critical facilities. They are currently seeking to hire a 1 Year contract Designer / Senior Designer (BIM/VDC) to support ongoing high-value projects. Location: Singapore Duration: 1 Year contract (ongoing) Your new role We are seeking an experienced Designer / Senior Designer (BIM/VDC) across disciplines including Architecture, Civil & Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical. You will play a critical role in working closely with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure design deliverables are completed accurately, coordinated effectively, and aligned with project requirements. You will be responsible for developing and coordinating BIM models and technical drawings across various project phases, supporting both design and construction teams in delivering high-quality outcomes. A. BIM Modelling & Design Development • Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models and 2D drawings across various project stages (concept, tender, construction, as-built). • Translate engineering and architectural concepts into accurate technical drawings, layouts, sections, and details. • Update drawings and models in accordance with design revisions and instructions from project stakeholders. • Ensure models reflect real-world constructability and meet project requirements. B. Multidisciplinary Coordination • Collaborate with Architectural, Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and process teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements. • Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using BIM tools. C. Technical Documentation & Deliverables • Produce high-quality construction drawings, shop drawings, and BIM deliverables in line with project timelines. • Prepare and manage drawing registers, revision logs, and submission packages. D. Quality Assurance & Standards Compliance • Maintain accuracy and consistency across all drawings and BIM outputs. • Ensure adherence to BIM standards, modelling protocols, and project-specific guidelines. • Review and validate drawings and models prior to submission or issuance. E. Project Coordination & Progress Tracking F. Team Collaboration & Mentorship (For Senior Level) What you'll need to succeed • Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline • Experience in one or more disciplines: Architecture, Civil & Structural, Mechanical, Electrical • Strong proficiency in Revit (mandatory) • Familiarity with BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks or similar • Experience in projects within semiconductor, biopharma, data centre, or other high-tech/industrial environments • Ability to produce and coordinate both 2D drawings and 3D BIM models • For Senior Designer: demonstrated experience leading coordination efforts or mentoring junior team members What you'll get in return This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced MNC company.
