What You Will Do Serve as a core contributing member on challenging, strategic data science projects. You'll engage in high-impact problem-solving, assist in the selection and implementation of algorithms, support project management efforts, and be responsible for the correctness, efficiency, and integrity of your team's solutions. Contribute to the team's technical workflow, processes, and methods — organizing team efforts, uplifting overall practices where possible, and reviewing peers' work to ensure high standards and adherence to best practice. Engage key stakeholders across IT and business units to co-create high-impact, high-value solutions. This involves frequent engagement and relationship-building with technical teams (e.g., system project leads, data engineers) as well as business units. Stay at the cutting edge of data science innovation by actively tracking the broader DSAI landscape and continuously strengthening your technical proficiency. Pre-Requisites for the Role 3+ years of active data science experience with a reputable employer Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline High proficiency in data science problem-solving (e.g., using frameworks like MECE, root cause analysis, etc.) Familiarity with MLOps as a framework, with strong experience in end-to-end model development and deployment in the cloud (e.g., AWS) Strong grounding in the theory and execution of deep learning algorithms and architectures (e.g., transformer models, reinforcement learning), AI Engineering (e.g., neural embeddings, LLM models, building GenAI systems with frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph, vector databases, EDA, etc.), optimization, statistical modelling, and multi-criteria decision analysis Experience with data engineering for data science (e.g., ELT concepts, structured table transformation, database technologies, etc.) Strong team player Excellent communication and data visualization abilities Strong programming and development skills in Python (and accompanying frameworks), R, SQL, and Shell scripting
