WE ARE HIRING Head of Sales & Business Development Salary: From SGD $8,000 per month Location: Macpherson / Tai Seng, Singapore About HDDoor HDDoor is one of Singapore’s leading specialists in premium doors, digital locks, gates and smart home solutions. We are looking for an experienced commercial leader to join our management team and drive the next phase of business growth. This is not a traditional sales manager role. We are looking for someone who can build people, improve systems, increase revenue and lead the entire commercial operation of the company. The successful candidate will work directly with the Managing Director to develop business strategies, improve sales performance and expand the company into new markets. Your Mission Your mission is simple. Build a high-performing sales organisation that consistently increases revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction while developing scalable systems that support long-term business growth. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management • Lead, coach and manage the entire retail sales team. • Recruit, train and develop high-performing sales consultants. • Build a strong sales culture focused on customer experience and accountability. • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions. • Develop future sales leaders within the company. Sales Strategy • Develop and execute company-wide sales strategies. • Set monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets. • Improve sales conversion rates. • Increase average order value. • Develop upselling and cross-selling strategies. • Create promotional campaigns together with the marketing team. Business Development • Develop partnerships with interior designers, developers, contractors and architects. • Expand corporate and B2B sales channels. • Identify new market opportunities. • Explore new products and business categories. • Support regional business expansion where applicable. Commercial Growth • Drive overall company revenue growth. • Monitor sales performance and profitability. • Improve gross profit margins. • Analyse customer buying behaviour. • Recommend pricing strategies. • Review competitors and market trends. Sales Operations • Develop and improve sales SOPs. • Optimise CRM workflows. • Improve lead response time. • Improve follow-up systems. • Increase conversion rates from enquiries to sales. • Build dashboards and reporting systems. Customer Experience • Maintain excellent showroom experience. • Monitor customer satisfaction. • Resolve escalated customer issues. • Improve Google Review ratings. • Develop customer loyalty programmes. Marketing Collaboration • Work closely with the marketing team. • Improve marketing ROI. • Analyse campaign performance. • Improve lead quality. • Ensure marketing efforts translate into measurable sales. Business Intelligence • Produce weekly and monthly management reports. • Analyse KPIs. • Forecast sales performance. • Recommend business improvements. • Present growth strategies directly to Management. Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline. • Minimum 8 years of sales experience. • Minimum 5 years managing retail or commercial sales teams. • Proven track record of growing revenue. • Strong leadership and coaching abilities. • Excellent business acumen. • Strong analytical mindset. • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills. • Experience building teams and systems. • Experience in CRM and sales process optimisation.
