The Executive (Youth Development) plays a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s youth engagement, volunteer development, and large‑scale programme delivery. The role oversees the full spectrum of the volunteer management lifecycle: recruitment, training, deployment, and engagement, while curating and implementing youth‑focused initiatives that nurture leadership, strengthen competencies, and contribute to meaningful community impact. The incumbent must demonstrate strong organisational capability, operational discipline, and the ability to coordinate complex, multi‑stakeholder programmes involving high youth participation and public‑facing engagements. Key Roles and Responsibilities Programme Design & Delivery : Curate, coordinate, implement, and review Youth Development (YD) programmes and volunteering initiatives with strategic partners, ensuring alignment with youth development and learning outcomes. Volunteer Recruitment & Deployment: Recruit, onboard, deploy, and manage youth volunteers across diverse programmes, ensuring appropriate placement based on interests, strengths, and developmental needs. Training & Facilitation: Plan and conduct training sessions and workshops to equip youth volunteers with essential knowledge, skills, and values for effective community service and leadership. Large‑Scale Operations Coordination : Support the planning and execution of complex, high‑volume youth engagements that require meticulous logistics, structured workflows, and coordination across multiple internal and external stakeholders. Stakeholder & Partner Management : Build and sustain collaborative relationships with social service agencies, corporate partners, schools, and community stakeholders to support outreach and engagement efforts. Youth Leadership Development : Monitor volunteer progress, provide guidance, and create opportunities for personal and leadership growth through structured developmental pathways. Operational Administration : Maintain programme budgets, SOPs, and operational processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with approved financial allocations.Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate volunteer records, update databases, and generate timely reports to track programme outcomes and volunteer contributions. Volunteer Engagement & Retention : Design and implement initiatives to engage, appreciate, and retain volunteers, including recognition events and structured feedback mechanisms. Other Duties : Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Reporting Officer or Executive Director to support departmental and organisational objectives. Job Requirements Knowledge Familiarity with volunteer management, youth engagement, and programme planning. Understanding of large‑scale event operations, multi‑stakeholder coordination, and public‑facing programme requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable with virtual engagement tools (Zoom, Google Meet). Basic Canva skills are an advantage. Experience in youth engagement, volunteer management, or programme operations preferred. Strong project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working in dynamic environments with large groups of youths. Able to work weekday evenings and Saturdays based on programme needs.
