Solution Architect

Solution Architect (Ref.No. R1013112) at our location in Singapore Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Solution Architect with strong experience in designing and delivering end-to-end technology solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise across application, data, platform, and infrastructure domains, combined with solid leadership capabilities. This role is responsible for defining scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures for asset management and predictive maintenance solutions, while providing technical leadership to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust solutions and drive the advancement of Hitachi Rail’s HMAX initiatives. You will enjoy having these responsibilities: Design end-to-end solution architecture across applications, data platforms, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance technical solutions. Define application and data architectures, including integration of analytics and predictive models. Establish IT infrastructure strategy (cloud, on-prem, hybrid) ensuring scalability, availability, and cost efficiency. Working with Cyber Security expert to embed cybersecurity principles (IAM, data protection, secure design) into all solution layers. Design system integration using APIs, data pipelines, and interoperability frameworks. Enable data and analytics capabilities, including support for predictive and data-driven use cases. Provide technical leadership across the full lifecycle (design, build, deploy, operate). Ensure governance and compliance with architecture standards, security, and best practices.
