Field Technician

Job Summary You will perform Infrared Thermography and Partial Discharge inspections on electrical systems to detect early-stage faults and enhance asset reliability for clients. Responsibilities Perform Infrared Thermography and Partial Discharge inspections on low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) electrical equipment to identify potential faults Conduct on-site measurements and collect data to support technical analysis and fault diagnosis Analyze inspection data and prepare accurate, professional reports detailing findings and recommendations Identify abnormalities in electrical systems and provide practical technical observations to improve asset reliability Operate and maintain advanced inspection instruments and software to ensure accurate testing results Ensure compliance with all safety standards and site requirements during inspections Maintain proper care and readiness of all inspection equipment to support operational efficiency Complete inspection assignments within project timelines to meet client expectations Continuously enhance technical knowledge and inspection skills through training and hands-on experience Required competencies and certifications Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Minimum 1–5 years of relevant experience in maintenance or inspection Proficient in basic computer applications for reporting and data handling Good communication skills in English Willingness to travel within Singapore and the region Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience in Infrared Thermography and/or Partial Discharge Testing Knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) electrical systems Valid Class 3 Driving Licence Other Information Working Hours 5-day workweek Benefits Competitive remuneration with clear progression pathway Continuous technical training and certification opportunities Exposure to specialised inspection technologies Opportunity to develop expertise in a high-demand niche field Application Interested candidates, please submit your detailed resume to: sales_enquiry@hoestarinsp.com.sg
