About this role
We are looking for a hands-on technical lead to manage the mission-critical infrastructure that powers MHA/HTX operations. In this role, you won’t just oversee systems; you will be the technical authority ensuring the availability, security, and performance of enterprise-wide server and network ecosystems. If you thrive in complex environments involving enterprise network technologies, large-scale endpoint services, Active Directory/Azure AD, shared storage and backup management, and Hybrid Cloud networks, and prefer getting your hands dirty with technical problem-solving over pure administrative oversight, this role is for you. • Hands-on network management, troubleshooting, LAN/WAN design, NAC management, firewall configuration and configuration of NOC tools. • Endpoint Infrastructure Management: Directly manage endpoint OS and common service software lifecycle, patching and device policy management. • Infrastructure Management: Directly manage and maintain enterprise services including Active Directory/Azure AD, File/Application Servers, Hypervisors, and Storage systems. Ensure optimal performance of network connectivity and server availability. • System Life-Cycle Engineering: Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of ICT systems—from technical evaluation and procurement to deployment, patching, sustainment, and eventual refresh/migration. • Incident Management and Technical Problem Solving: Serve as the Tier-3 escalation point for complex server and network incidents. Troubleshoot high-priority issues to minimize downtime for user operations. • Contract, Vendor & Warranty Management: Technical ownership of vendor deliverables. validate that systems in warranty/maintenance phases meet rigorous performance specifications before handover. • Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices (system hardening, GPO management). Lead technical remediations for IT audits and compliance checks. We are looking for an engineer with a "builder" mindset who possesses deep technical proficiency. • Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in system/network administration, infrastructure architecture, or cloud operations (Private/Public) and endpoint infrastructure management. • Education: Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related technical disciplines. • Certification: Recently certified (less than 2 years ago) with CCIE/CCNP/CCNA, MCSE/MCSA, Azure Architect/Administrator, and/or professional certifications from OEMs of major technology providers. • Operational Grit: Proven track record in maintaining 24/7 operational systems with strict SLAs and rapid response times. • Independence: Proactive self-starter capable of driving technical projects with minimal supervision. Candidates should possess hands-on proficiency in the following areas: • Network: Deep understanding of enterprise networking concepts (VLANs, Network Access Control, Load Balancing, Routing, Firewalls & IPS), software-defined network (SDN) and structure cabling systems. • Server Administration: Proficient knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Domain Controllers, DNS, File/App Servers, and Patch Management. • Virtualization & Cloud:Hands-on experience with Hypervisors (VMware/Hyper-V/Nutanix) and designing/operating large-scale private/public cloud infrastructure. • Shared Storage: Management of Shared Storage (SAN/NAS), Backup Appliances, and enterprise backup tools (eg Commvault and Cohesity). • Security & Audit: Experience conducting and remediating IT/Compliance Audits. Strong grasp of cybersecurity frameworks and system hardening. • Tools: Proficiency with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNOW) and network operations tools such as Solarwinds, Tenable and Splunk. • Processes: Proficiency with ITIL and Systems Engineering Lifecycle Management.
