Project Engineer

Company Overview Hong Aik Engineering Pte Ltd, founded in 2013, specializes in construction services including structural steel works, ERSS, earth moving, drainage, deep foundation, demolition, and general civil engineering across multiple Singapore regions. Job Summary You will assist in monitoring, scheduling, planning, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. You will lead engineering disciplines, establish inspection criteria, and support tender phases to deliver successful construction projects. Responsibilities Manage, coordinate, and execute project activities to ensure timely and quality completion of construction projects Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to project personnel to optimize team performance Plan and schedule project timelines to align with client and contractor requirements Monitor manufacturing and construction progress to identify and resolve issues promptly Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders Facilitate site meetings with main contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure alignment and address concerns Ensure timely delivery and execution of projects by coordinating resources and activities Provide engineering support during project tender phases by collaborating with departments and negotiating with third-party contractors Perform additional duties as assigned by superiors to support project success Preferred competencies and qualifications Use of AutoCAD to support project design and documentation Proficient in Microsoft Office to prepare reports and manage project documentation Strong communication skills to interact effectively with people at all levels and foster teamwork
