Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities Prepare tender documents, contracts, BQs, cost estimates, budgets, and related documentation. Evaluate quotations, conduct cost analysis, and recommend suitable suppliers/subcontractors. Monitor project costs and ensure budget control throughout project execution. Prepareand manage progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts. Assessand certify subcontractors' and suppliers' payment claims. Conductquantity take-offs, measurements, and cost evaluations. Maintainaccurate records of project costs, claims, variations, and contracts. Negotiate subcontract agreements, variation claims, and account settlements. Liaise with clients, consultants, project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on commercial matters. Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance project profitability. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, and industry regulations. Job Requirements Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline. Minimum3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in the construction industry. Familiarity with tendering procedures, contract administration, cost control, progress claims, and final account settlement. Good knowledge of construction contracts, measurement standards, and quantity take-off practices. Proficient n Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with QS software will be an advantage. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented with strong commercial awareness.
