Job Description: To assist in placing or removing dunnage materials at the yard to facilitate cargo discharging or loading operations in port. Working Hours: Day shifts: 8:00am - 6:00pm Night shifts: 7:00pm - 7:00am Meal Break: 1.0 hours Tea Break: 30 mins Key Responsibilities: • To place dunnage for the landing of cargoes in port. Ensure cargoes are placed safely / firmly on the ground. • Assist in cargo securing operations, ensuring alignment with vessel stability and safety protocols. • Coordinate with deck officers, cargo handlers, and stevedores to execute efficient cargo operations. • Ensure adherence to maritime safety regulations, port rules, and site-specific safety requirements. Required Qualifications & Skills: • No experience welcome to apply. Training will be provided. • Physical fitness and ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy dunnage items safely. • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. • Flexibility to operate at multiple work locations within Singapore. • Valid certifications (Work-At-Height) are preferred.
