Mechanical Design R&D Engineer

Support the development of new products and manufacturing solutions by turning design ideas into practical, testable, and production-ready concepts. Key Responsibilities Develop mechanical concepts, prototypes, and design solutions for R&D projects. Convert product requirements into 3D models, technical drawings, and design specifications. Evaluate fit, function, material performance, and manufacturability during the design stage. Plan design verification activities and assess test results for improvement. Conduct technical research, including patent reviews, to support design originality. Coordinate project activities and deliver design outputs within committed timelines. Follow company safety, environmental, and workplace procedures. Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. 2–3 years of experience in mechanical product development or R&D. Experience in mechanical component design, material selection, and design for manufacturability. Proficient in 3D CAD, engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and design calculations.
