Junior Rice Trader (Agricultural Commodities) – Up to $7,000 | Regional Markets | Trading We are hiring a Junior Rice Trader to support regional rice trading activities across Southeast Asia, Middle East, and Africa markets. This role is ideal for candidates with strong commodity sales exposure, market knowledge, and the ability to develop new business opportunities in a fast-paced trading environment. 💰 Salary $5,500 – $7,000/month 🧾 Job Responsibilities Develop new markets and customer relationships for rice trading business Execute end-to-end third-party rice trades and sales transactions Handle buying and selling of rice products across regional markets Monitor market prices, competition, trade flows, and supply-demand dynamics Analyse rice grades, origins, spreads, and market movements Coordinate shipment planning, receivables, and delivery timelines Monitor counterparties’ contract performance and ensure compliance Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and industry contacts Work closely with internal traders across origins to support business growth Manage trading activities in line with company risk management guidelines Drive sales volume growth and profitability for the rice business 📝 Job Requirements Minimum 3 years of rice trading or agricultural commodities trading experience Experience in sales-focused trading environment preferred Knowledge of containerised and/or breakbulk commodity trading Strong understanding of commodity markets, trade flows, and wholesale distribution channels Proven business development and customer management skills Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced trading environment Willing to travel for business development and market expansion 🌟 Ideal Candidate Possesses existing customer network / trading book Entrepreneurial and commercially driven mindset Strong grasp of market dynamics and numbers Team player with strong relationship management skills Looking for a regional trading and market development role 📩 Apply Now Send your resume in MS Word format to: Vanessa.chua@crew.sg Please include your availability, notice period, and expected salary.
