Senior Machinery Mechanic

Job Description: Performing preventive maintenance on earthmoving equipment including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and related machinery. Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues related to motors, engines, hydraulic pumps, hoses, filters, belts, bearings and other systems. Repair and replace defective components, including engines, motors, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic hoses, filters, belts, bearings, cylinders, and other mechanical systems. Carry out routine service including lubrication, oil changes, and system checks. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and ensure accurate repairs. Maintain and manage personal tools, including an up-to-date documented personal tools list, service records or work orders and reports. Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to junior mechanics and workshop personnel where required. Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace. Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time as the superior/ management deem fit Job Requirement: Diploma or technical certification in mechanical or automotive technology. Min. 6 years of experience in mechanical or maintenance of earthmoving equipment. Good knowledge and experience of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
