The Salvation Army, Singapore - Peacehaven Nursing Home RESPONSIBILITIES Assist Staff Nurses in planning and delivering resident care in line with current nursing standards. Provide basic nursing care, including personal hygiene, comfort measures, mobility support, and feeding assistance. Monitor and record residents' vital signs accurately. Support safe transfer and positioning of non-ambulant residents. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all care provided. Assist in the admission and orientation of new residents. Carry out rehabilitation activities such as range-of-motion exercises and supervised walking. Participate in resident activities and therapy programs (e.g., kitchen tasks, gardening, laundry). Assist in serving oral medications under supervision. Safeguard residents' privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times. Report any changes in residents' health status to the designated doctor or nurse in charge. Participate in team reviews and nursing meetings. Support the implementation of nursing home policies, procedures, and safe work practices. Attend ongoing education and in-service training to support professional development. Assist in monitoring and improving nursing practices as guided by senior nursing staff. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications & Job Requirements Diploma in Nursing or equivalent from a recognised institution. Valid practising license as an Enrolled Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB). National Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Certificate in Nursing or its equivalent. Experience in eldercare, nursing home, or acute care settings is an advantage. Dynamic, motivated, and a strong team player. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
