RESPONSIBILITIES This position is for Centre for Research on Intelligent Software Engineering (RISE). Design methods for secure and private data collection and sharing for large model training. Design methods for security analysis and verification of shared data and models. Develop tools for data processing, LLM training and security evaluation. Write research papers. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines with particular focus on Computer Science. Minimum 3 years of relevant research experience in AI security, data privacy or machine learning. High-quality publications in top-tier software engineering/security/AI journals or conferences. Proficiency in programming software/languages such as python and Pytorch will be positively considered/ is required. Proven track record and professional experience in data security, privacy protection and LLM training and evaluation. Demonstrated experience and know-how on data collection and sharing, LLM training and security analysis. Excellent working knowledge of machine learning, trustworthy AI and data security. Technical skills in LLM training, data analysis and security analysis. Ability to break down complex problems and design effective solutions. Innovating new approaches and thinking outside the box. Applicants with research publications in AI security, data privacy and software engineering area will be advantageous. Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential. Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with team members.
